This is an English mantra painting. A mantra painting is one where the painter strikes the canvas every time they think the mantra and vice versa. You can only imagine how many ways I thought and said "oh" while painting this canvas. I enjoyed this process so much that I've decided that it warrants being in a series. "No!!" already has a home, "OH" is on exhibit with Gallery For Rent, and "Money" is on my studio walls. I choose the language of the country I am working in for the mantra. As I move around the world I will add to the collection and hopefully vary the language.
